Onur Air is the largest private airline company in Turkey with a fleet of 25 aircraft fleet and a total seat capacity of 5979. Founded in 1992, Onur Air began life as a domestic airline provider before expanding its international services in 2003. Onur Air now offers flights to 80 international destinations in 20 countries plus 14 domestic destinations. Onur Air is the 1st and only Turkish airline company to have received the EN9110:2010 Quality Standardization Certificate. This certification reflects both the value added services the airline provides for its passengers and the company’s continuous growth, which is a result of its punctual operations and reasonably priced flight policy. In addition to its scheduled flights, Onur Air also offers a wide range of charter flights out of its base at Atatürk Airport.

Online check-in

• Passengers are able to check in online via mobile applications or the Onur Air check-in counters at the airport terminal.
• A passport for international flights and an identity card bearing a photograph must be presented at the airport. Passengers with only photocopies of said documents will not be admitted to the flights.
• Passengers looking to check in at the airport are required to be present at the terminal to deliver their baggage 60 minutes before the scheduled flight time for domestic flights, and 90 minutes before the scheduled flight time for international flights. Onur Air check-in counters are also available at selected airports.

Cabin luggage allowance

• Each passenger of an Onur Air flight is entitled to 1 item of cabin luggage with the maximum dimensions of 25cm x 45cm x 56cm. Additional luggage or luggage exceeding these dimensions will incur an extra cost upon check in.
• Cabin luggage has a maximum weight limit of 8kg. Cabin luggage weighing over 8kg will be subjected to additional charges or in some cases, not admitted onto the aircraft at all.
• Each passenger may carry 1 item of cabin luggage. A second seat is required to be purchased so as to carry any musical instruments that exceed the standard cabin baggage limits.

Checked baggage allowance

• Checked baggage for passengers flying with Onur Air must weigh less than the specified limit depending on whether the flight is domestic or international. All domestic flights have a maximum weight limit of 15kg, while international flyers can check in baggage weighing a maximum of 30kg.
• Each passenger (adult and infant) is entitled to check in 1 piece of baggage.
• Sport and musical equipment may be checked as baggage provided they fall within the defined weight limitations.
• Additional baggage and baggage weighing more than the stipulated limit may still be checked in, although a fee will be charged.
