• Any checked baggage that exceeds 158cm in total dimensions will be subject to an oversize charge.
• Passengers flying with Jet Airways to an international destination are entitled to 1 free checked piece of baggage weighing no more than 40kg.
• Passenger wishing to check in excess baggage may be subject to charges that will apply per additional piece, provided the total weight does not exceed the weight allowed by cabin. If the total weight exceeds the allowable weight, guests shall be charged for the additional piece as well as for the additional weight.
• Sporting equipment is exempted from oversize charges. Standard excess baggage charges will however apply to sporting equipment exceeding the weight restrictions. This also applies to music instruments.

• When checking in online, passengers will need a valid Jet Airways ticket or booking number issued by a travel agent, as well as a valid passport.
• Passengers carrying a printed e-boarding pass for international flights need to collect a boarding pass from the airport check-in desk. The boarding pass will be issued only upon verification of the passenger’s travel documents. Passengers holding a valid e-boarding pass must report to the boarding gate at least 1 hour prior to the flight departure for verification of their travel documents. The check-in process at the airport counters will commence 3 hours prior to flight departure and no additional fee will be charged for using this service.

• Domestic flights operated by Jet Airways allow passengers to carry 1 item of cabin luggage with dimensions no greater than 55cm x 35cm x 25cm for Boeing flights and 50cm x 45cm x 20cm for ATR flights. For international journeys the dimensions can be no larger than 55cm x 35cm x 25cm.
• The maximum weight of cabin luggage is 7kg for all domestic and international flights, though this can be increased to 10kg for international flights subject to a fee.
• In addition to the free cabin baggage allowance, the following articles, may be carried inside the aircraft (subject to security regulations): laptops, umbrellas, walking sticks, handbags, cameras, reading materials, baby food, carrycots, and fully collapsible wheelchairs.
