The most beautiful beaches in Formentera

Playa Illetes could be described as the "perfect postcard beach". Stunning white sand, incredible turquoise waters and beautiful views of the small island of Espalmador make Playa Illetes a favourite amongst everyone.

Sheltered between rocky headlands, Cala Saona comprises a beautiful shallow bay located on the western side of Formentera. Particularly good for swimming, its also the ideal place for going kayaking whilst admiring views of Ibiza on the horizon.

Playa Es Pujols is located in the popular tourist resort of Es Pujols. It consists of two long strips of dazzling white sand separated by rocky outcrops. Featuring all the necessary services and shallow waters, this is just the perfect beach for families.

Cavall d'en Borràs is easily accessible thanks to its privileged location by the port of La Savina. In addition great views of the yachts sailing to and from Ibiza can be enjoyed.

This lovely beach is also famous for El Tiburón (the Shark), a restaurant featuring relaxing music and great food.

Playa Migjorn has it all… long stretches of dazzling white sand, sparkling blue waters and the coolest beach bars in Formentera.

The biggest advantage is that it’s so big you’ll always find a spot to park your towel and sunshade.

Es Caló is most definitely the best place to go snorkeling thanks to the amazingly clear waters and variety of fish that hide in the rocky seabed. This tiny refuge for fishing enthusiasts also comprises a great place to enjoy delicious fresh fish and seafood dishes.
